My herbst appliance just broke?

So, I have a herbst appliance and the back band upright snapped in half.

Now I have this rod and part of my band swinging around in my mouth and the earliest I can see the ortho is Mon.

What should I do to make it stay in state for a day and a half? Will it have to be sent back to be repaired and will this affect treatment? Will I have to start turning the RPE thing over again?
I would push it back down, except, the team up snapped in half, and half of it is on my tooth while the other half is connected to the rod, which is hanging loosely in my mouth.

Non toxic adhesive for a dental appliance...?

I snapped my retainer...be definitely expensive to get a new one. Any recommendations on a non toxic adhesive to bond the broken retainer back together? Thanks.

It's a 1972 Jackson 275 and has worked Dialect right for the last 36 years until today when the belt snapped.
Any suggestions on where I can get a new belt from?
Please don't say give up on it it's 36 years old because my mum donated it to me and I'm a critic, I lack the funds to buy new drying appliances.
