Home improvement or appliance store employee discount?

I am planning on purchasing my first condo this summer & typically keep a support job thanks to college loans. Can anyone recommend a store to apply to because of their great home related products discounts? Thanks in rise!

I heard Lowes gives gigantic employee discounts. Good luck!

someone at home depot told me they don't give discounts "in commission to keep their prices low" and because they have an otherwise good benefit program. he was, however, able to get dibs on the markdowns and damaged material and displays they were selling. (this was 5 years ago, so they may have changed their discount policy by now)

What home appliance stores offer easy financing for people with less than perfect credit?

Lowe's, Home Depot, Federal Home Center?
Those are some of the stores in our area, but any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks

Home Depot and Lowes often have "no interest/no payments" options on their credit reveal all for any purchase over $299. That gives you the ability to pay it off before the interest kicks in.

HOWEVER, if you think there's any chance you won't be skilled to pay it off in the alotted time, don't do it. Seriously. The interest on those store cards is outrageous (23-25%) and the interest is retroactive to the purchase girlfriend, which can be a real shocker.

If you CAN pay it, I say give it a go. It's like borrowing the store's money for free. I recommend mounting up an automatic payment through your bank either weekly or bi-weekly, depending on how you get paid - that's how we paid off our washer/dryer set without paying any interest.

For sample (and this works with any bill): If the bill is $1200, and you have 12 months to pay it off with no interest, set up an automatic payment with your bank online/billpay for either $25/week or $50/biweekly on the day you get paid (for a perfect of $100 or $1200/12 months.) You never see the money, it's in smaller, easier chunks than trying to pay $100 once, and there's a greater likelyhood you'll pay it off with no problems.

Honesty card companies DON'T CARE how you pay the bill, as long as you pay. Too many people think they can only send in money when they get a announcement, and that's just not true. If you wanted to send them $2.50 a day, you could. Most banks have free online billpay now and will let you set up payments for any dated, any schedule, any duration.

I haven't written a paper check in 10 years and I do the same confidence trick on credit-card balances... I send 2 payments a month on payday instead of one; when the have faith card interest is compounded daily, you're saving yourself money with the split payment!

Good destiny.

Anyone out there know the law on selling home appliances especially new store bought cookers. Bought a new?

energized cooker from a reputable store. Unfortunately it was not wired or had a sealed plug. Is this illeagle.

no it is not prohibited some come with plugs some dont, in fact the majority now come without a plug fitted because the installers of the items offer them without so they can route the wire easier and they dont have to cut off the sealed plug.
it is not illegal and you have no recourse in law if a plug is not tailor-made, it is the makers choice.
