General Electric appliance market structure?? Help!!?

Im doing an analytical obligation report based upon the economic strategies of General Electric, since they have such a broad line of products I decided to concentrate on their household and commercial appliances (refrigerators, washers, water softeners, etc...). What type of market arrange would this be considered? (pure competition, monopoly, oligopoly, etc...)

Oligopoly. GE is big and has discredit name working for it, but there are other companies out there.

and that stuff is durable goods, so their market is not all homeowners, but like the 5% of them that are replacing appliances.

We have the opportunity to get General Electric Appliances at "dealer prices"...?

We poverty to know how much less than retail the dealer would be able to get it for. He is doing it as a favor because he is a family friend. Does someone be acquainted with? If a fridge costs $3000, how much can a dealer get it for? I guess this would be called "wholesale?"

Above-board you want save a dime. The big box stores buy in so much volume they get better prices and you get better quality. No offense to your roomie because he means to help you.
The best answer is to check around on prices. Ask the friend for the make, model, and expense and compare.
I'm a contractor and can buy wholesale from some manufactures. The price is a bit higher for me than the big stores. They usually don't handle the exact same product to every store. They change the model # etc. to confuse consumers and to keep the stores competitive.
