My kitchen remodel included "appliance installation" does that include moving the appliances into the house?

I hired a pantry design company to do a total gut and remodel of my kitchen. The contract says that appliance installation is included. The appliance company dropped off the appliances in my garage. My kitchenette contractor is claiming that only the "installation" of the appliances is included, not the physical movement of the appliances from fa the house to inside. Is this typical? I feel like I'm getting ripped off because I might have to spend excess money to get a mover.

When we define installation, we mean that we physically move them from where they were delivered to where they will be installed. It often happens that the appliances are delivered before other work that needs to be performed before the appliance is installed, isn't. And, we don't need the appliances cluttering up the area until that work is completed, so many clients have them delivered into the garage until my electrician or plumber says the appliance is up to be installed and all other prep work is completed.

Personally, I would be a little insistent with the design company that they move the appliances from the garage to the caboose. Especially, if there is other work to be completely prior to their installation. I would threaten to contact the Better Business Bureau and the Structure Contractor's Licensing Board to complain. Moreover, this is a very poor example of customer service and I flock they aren't expecting you to be a happy satisfied customer who will act as a referral in the future!

Should I tip someone for appliance delivery and installation? How much?

I lately bought a new house and I am getting some appliances delivered and installed. I have always lived in apartments prior to this and I am unsure about the tipping politeness regarding appliance delivery and installation. Is this a situation where one would typically tip the delivery man or not? If so, how much would be appropriate?
I am getting a washer and dryer installed and they basically only need to be hooked into the wall and possibly stacked. All the hookups are already there and easily accessable.
I'm not unavoidable that an appliance delivery guy would be considered a skilled worker... The installation doesn't require a specialist either. I could undoubtedly do it myself, but this just seems simpler and it's included.

Yes, you should tip about $20. It will only be one or two people, when I bought my new washer and dryer a link years ago, one guy did it all himself. If there are two people, they will just split the tip. My brother used to deliver appliances and when he worked with another herself, they always just split tips.
